Our client was working as a sub contractor carrying out works on a building site at the time of the accident. He was descending a ladder when the ladder was caused to slide to the left, resulting in his falling from a significant height and fracturing his leg, due to the fact that the ladder had not been properly secured.

Despite the difficult and complex liability arguments arising, the case settled for a six figure sum without the necessity for a court appearance.
